| Car was traveling approx/ 50-55 miles per hour heading south when control was lost of the car. their was a slight turn in the road and brakes were applied. the car left 116 ft of solid skid marks before entering in the east ditch and then back onto the roadway. the vehicle flipped onto its roof and was in the middle of the road when help arrived. with the car being air borne regardless of it not being a head on collision those air bags should of been deployed to help hold the driver in. their was a seat belt worn as well. the seatbelt is what saved the drivers life. | |||

| Tl- the contact owns a 2008 chevrolet impala. while traveling 70 mph the contact noticed smoke coming from inside the drivers side door panel, seconds later the contact noticed that the airbag light had appeared on the dashboard followed by the deployment of the front passenger side airbag. the vehicle was taken to the dealership where the wiring was replaced in the driver side airbag, however after the repair the failure still occurred. there were no prior warnings. the failure mileage was 39000 and the current mileage was 40000. bml | |||
