TIRES | |||

At about 50 to 55 mph, the least bit of road roughness starts the tires hopping and sending the rear of the truck sideways. the tires did not come on the truck, they were purchased as replacements for the original tires which posed no problems. it happens very quickly and has nearly caused me to lose control several times. i bought the tires used with about 5000 miles on them. i would assume the previous owner had the same problem and replaced them, which i will have to do to.*ak (tiresize: 265 75)( dot number: tire size: 265 75 )

While traveling on the highway at approx. 70mph, the tread on the rear driver side tire separated rapidly, resulting in complete destruction of the tire. after installing the spare and returning home, i inspected the other three tires which all have distinct cracks forming at the tread/sidewall corners. on one tire, i can actually see the steel belts between the cracks.*ak
