| My daughter climbed up on the tailgate of my 2002 chevrolet pick up and was standing up when the cables broke. the tailgate dropped and she fell to the ground landing on her tail bone.she was not seriously injured but was very stiff and sore and couldnt hardly walk for 3 days.*ak | |||

| The cable on one side of my chevrolet pickup gate broke causing the gate to fall onto the bumper. after purchasing a new pair of cables from the dealer i noticed that the gate was not properly aligned causing the weight of the gate to be placed all on one cable. i alerted the dealership to this problem which they looked at and suggested that i could make some adjustments to the tailgate to fix the problem. i tried to make an adjustment but could not get any movement in the tailgate so i am still driving with the problem.*ak | |||
