 This vehicle has the same issue as the below listed recall: nhtsa campaign id number : 97v058000 the rear cradle bolts pull through the retainers due to corrosion of the retainer. if both bolts pull through, the rear cradle would not longer be supported at these mounting locations and the steering intermediate shaft can separate from the steering gear. *jb

 While driving subframe dropped and caused a lost of steering control. towed to dealer, and was informed that rear cradle bolts had become rusty and caused cradle bolts not to support subframe.*ak consumer states the cradle bolts pulled through the rusted retainer, recall 97v058 states the rear cradle bolts of the vehicles front subframe can pull through the retainers due to corrosion of the retainer, if both bolts pull through, the rear cradle would no longer be supported at these mounting locations and the steering intermediate shaft could separate from the steering gear, even though this recall states exactly what happened on consumers vehicle, it was not included due to it being a 1992. *slc

 Lock on driver's side door will not unlock manually or when using elrctronic locking system. dealer contacted.*ak consumer stated that the driver could not get out of the vehicle if an accident were to happen. *yh

 Called gm 8/6/01, rear spindle arms bad, consumer was told vehicle is too old, they rust out, front end suspension is also doing the same,consumer got the same story. vehicle stalls, loss of control and door handles break off.
 When driving there is a noise in car, when stopped to check the car, the rear passenger's side door is loose, going to take it to a mechanic. *ak

 Drivers door can't be opened from outside due to broken handle.
 Purchase car new the rear disc brake corroded the driver side outside handle snapped two times . tt

 Engine frame bolts broke

 Consumer heard a noise coming from the front end while driving. vehicle was serviced by several mechanics before the cause of the noise was found. the rear cradle bolt had pulled through the retainers because of corrosion as stated in recall 97v058000, but this model year was not included in the recall.*ak

 Front-engine cradle bolt retaining mount sepaated due to corrsion, stamped bolt flange rusted through, fell off and was found on drive way. i am taking it to have all four replaced before the engine/transmission/cradle falls out on the ground. this could have happened while the car was moving.*ak

 While turning the conner at 10 mph the subframe separated, causing steering problems after it collapsed. dealer has been contacted. *ak

 The moulding on the vehicle prevents entry and exiting whn it is raining or when it is humid. this also caused the door latch to break on each side of car. *ak
