| I have a 2006 chevy malibu that i bought in sacramento ca. via paul blanco dealer on franklin and florin rd. (they are no longer in business at that site). the car accelerates dangerously when on cruise control. the car began overheating immediately after purchase (oil lube place detected an engine gasket that needs to be replaced because it continues to overheat; unless i keep the heater and or ac going; the steering column had to be re greased and re-adjusted at firestone a few months ago because all of a sudden it would lock. the a/c compressor immediately went bad after purchasing this car. i had to buy another one which cost a good amount! soon after purchase (used vehicle with approx. 10,300 miles) the brakes went out and had to be replaced! in jan. 2010, i noticed the seat belt light kept coming on, even after it was locked in (which is very dangerous because i don't know when and if its going to keep me safe when driving); erc. etc.. i need someone to contact the dealer of chevy so that owners can go get these things checked out and fixed the right way. i attempted to call the numbers given re: warranty etc. and nothing was resolved. *tr | |||

| Driving 30 mph down a country road. drove over black ice started to fishtail. lost control of the vehicle going into three 360's. in the fourth 360 i hit a tree head on causing total damage to the front of the car. slid along a barbedwire fence for the back end to hit the tree again and wrapping the car around the tree. the tree then fell on top of the car. *tr | |||

| Dt*: the contact stated the steering wheel started to chatter at various speeds under normal road conditions. the vehicle was taken to the service dealer, who could not determine the problem. the parking brake cables were replaced. there was a noise coming from the rear of the vehicle, when the consumer drove over bumps. there was a noise coming from the ac compressor. updated 01/10/07. *jb | |||

| Shaking in steering wheel when brakes are applied,this happen everytime i apply the brakes. the dealer resurfaced front rotors and replaced pads..car still have a grinding noise in front wheelarea dealer said that the replacement pads are causing the grinding and there's nothing that can be done to stop the grinding because of the way the replacement pas are designed. this car is not safe to drive and i told the dealership this and they claim it is safe. *tr | |||

| Tl*the contact owns a 2006 chevrolet malibu. whenever the contact drove the vehicle, she heard a clunking sound coming from the front driver's side. the vehicle was taken to the dealer and they stated that the ball joint needed to be replaced. the current mileage was 48,000 and failure mileage was 45,000. updated 8/10/09 *cn the consumer stated it was difficult to steer the vehicle. updated 08/13/09.*jb | |||

| I am the owner of my second chevrolet malibu. the first one was a 1999 ls model the second a 2003 ls model. on the first one i had to replace the intake manifold gasket and both front wheel bearings,also the air fan switch,all before the vehicle reached 60000 miles. on the 2003 i had to replace the fan switch and the right front wheel bearing. the 2003 has 70000 miles on it does gm continue to have the same problems year after year????? please get back to me as soon as possible and let me know what recourse i have? *nm | |||
