 Tl- the contact owns a 2010 chevrolet malibu. the contact stated that while driving 45 mph, the ecs warning light illuminated as the vehicle independently decelerated to 20 mph. the vehicle also failed to respond to the contact's attempts to accelerate. the manufacturer was notified of the failure and stated that they had received additional complaints for the failure, but not enough to issue a recall. the manufacturer offered no additional assistance. the failure and current mileage was 104,000. kmj

 The rack and pinion on drivers side end rattles at slow speed. i have tried 3 different brand front brakes and all have squeaked,the transmission cooler line started leaking.the car has 69,000 on it as of now 1/26/2013. dealer want fix any of the problem under the drive train warranty. also has cold start engine knock. *tr

 Tl- the contact owns a 2010 chevrolet malibu. the contact stated the vehicle slowed from 35 mph to 10 mph and the check engine light came on. the vehicle did not stall, but it did loose speed drastically and did not accelerate again. the vehicle was towed to the dealer. the dealer stated that coolant leaked onto electrical wires and caused the failure. the vehicle had not been repaired at the time of the complaint. the failure mileage and current mileages was 1400.rl

 New malibu 2010 (14miles on odometer on 02/27/2010) has severe problem with the engine. upon starting vehicle has very strong vibration and looks like engine may stop running every minute. when accelerating engine provides noise and vibration and engines generates rattling noise. it looks like unsafe to drive the vehicle. dealership where vehicle was bought on 02/26/2010 does not like take to provide repair or so on. gm does not respond to our e-mails and calls, but when complaint was submit to bbb we got a call that said that it is gm legal department - no last name or position, and the person started to intimidate us. *tr

 2010 chevy malibu ltz v6 3.6l has hard gear shift up and down around 15 mph, 35 mph, 50 mph, more noticeably at 15 and 35 mph. this problem, so i assume, also causes the car to accelerate on its own after braking and letting off of the brake to coast around these speeds. when attempting to accelerate the vehicle hesitates and then lurches forward into gear. i'm afraid this may cause a rear end collision. vehicle has been taken to dealership multiple times to investigate/repair problem. dealership and gm claim this is normal performance for this vehicle.
