| I was driving home from my 2nd job on 4/27/99 around 9:00 pm, it was raining and my windshield wipers were working as i left my job, but before i could make it a mile down the road they quit. i had to stop in a dimly lit industrial park and try to get them to come back on, i was not able to accomplish that. i had to drive home in the pouring rain with my head hanging out the window basically, it was either that or walk in the dark and rain. i could have had an accident because of these faulty wipers. also, since i purchased this truck in '94 my brakes have collapsed numerous times, at one point they collapsed when i was going down a slight hill, when they collapsed i swerved ever so slightly and side-swipped a curb which damaged my rim and caused a flat. since then i have had to have the master cylinder replaced, the brakes replaced constantly, and anytime i take it to a shop to be repaired they cannot find the problem. i only have 68,000 miles on a 5 year old truck and i have to be very careful driving it because i never know if the brakes will stop. *ak | |||
