| Defect Summary | Certain delphi fuel pressure regulators, p/nos. fp10020-11b1, fp10026-11b1, and fp10027-11b1, sold after january 9, 2007, as aftermarket equipment for various passenger vehicles listed above. the universal pressure regulators (upr) were produced without an o'ring and retainer. | |||||||||||||||

| Tl*the contact owns a 1999 chevrolet s10. while driving up an incline at any speed, the vehicle would begin to stall and the check engine light illuminated on the instrument panel. the vehicle was taken to a local mechanic and the contact was informed that the stalling was caused by a fuel injection failure. the vehicle has not been diagnosed by the dealer. the current and failure mileages were 107,139. | |||

| While driving consumer smelt gas fumes. consumer had vehicle service by the dealership who indicated that the fuel line is rubbing against the transmission or frame of the vehicle , that cause a hole in the fuel line, which resulted in a fuel leak. please provide more details. ts | |||

| Noticed gas gauge was dropping to empty when i had a full tank of gas. kept an eye on it and the problem became worse. now my gas gauge does not read at all. i can be on empty and it reads that i have more than a half tank left. severly times i have almost run out of gas due to this problem. i know have to watch my mileage and determine when i need to get gas. | |||
