| Failure of right front wheel bearing. in past three months have also had to replace left wheel bearing assembly and lower ball joint, as well as effected tire. have spent over $750 in parts and labor on this vehicle for these failure in past 90 days. mechanic says to expect problems with wheel bearings to continue in future. *jb | |||

| Dismissed as road hazard, the puncture's location--just below the crown--indicates to me a structural weakness in the tirewall. on another vehicle with uniroyals, the rubber on the crown was eaten away by broken glass (bottle) as if chewed by a dog. new tires should not be so soft, so incapabale of handling ordinary and common road hazards. i received no satisfaction from the dealer or the tire's rep. i was on my own and make this report to warn others that tires which cost in excess of $100 each should perform to a higher and safer standard. and not unlike the current firestone controversy, tires are made to ride softer so to compensate for the stiff rides so typical with the new muscle trucks and suv's. simply, this should have never happened. the tire's rubber chemistry and construction could have endangered my family's health and well being.gner. *ak (dot number: apuljluu35 tiresize: p205/75r15) | |||

| Tire separation of passenger rear while driving down street. business where tires purchased no longer in business; called around town, no one has my particular brand of tire. did internet search and found various articles concerning premature tire separation of certain models of kelly springfield tires/goodyear. called goodyear and they denied any recalls for kelly safari awrs. referred me to a local business: owner stated that tire is defective. replacement given with pro-rated charge. tires are: kelly safari awr 32x11.50r15lt. dot: pjyk ktkv 467. since when does a consumer pay for defective parts? | |||
