| Brought a 2001 chevy silverado 1500 in for a slow leak in the front drivers side tire. upon mechanic tacking tire off the vehicle the inspection revealed the inside side wall seam is separating and actually has a gaps measuring 3/16' wide by a few inches long all along the seam. upon further inspection the rear tire on the drivers side also reveals the same side wall separation tears in the seam. this is a goodyear wrangler sr-a , p245-75-16. with a manufacturers date of 2009. *tr | |||

| On january 9th i was driving on route 601, mile marker 19,@ 45 mph when my tire separated and disintegrated with only 25,000 miles on them. the tire damaged the wheel well and truck body. tire: p265/75r16 114t m+s long trail t/a, sku# 4121-786, bfgoodrich. i spun around 180 degrees and fortunately my wife and i were safe with only miner discomfort in neck and back areas. *tr | |||

| Tl*the contact owns a 2001 chevy silverado 1500. while driving 70 to 75 mph the vehicle began shaking and then the rear passenger side tire blew out causing damage to the back quarter panel. a tow truck driver replaced the tire with a spare tire. the rear quarter panel of the vehicle was also repaired. two month later, the driver side rear tire blew out causing damage to the fender above the wheel. the tire dealer that the contact purchased the tires from confirmed that there were no existing recalls. the contact has not notified the manufacturer and the vehicle has not been repaired. the current and failure mileages were 113,000. | |||

| Normal driving less than 10 miles. the failures are many and often. transmission failures every few thousand miles. always leaks trans flds all over streets and driveways. service engine light on. chevrolet dealer erased failure and diagnostic codes to gouge consumer, many times. parking brake cable snapped in two on driveway. abs failures at low speeds and engine klacks loud when starting. i am original owner of a defective 2001 chevrolet silverado. the last time gmpp with gm dealer repair the underwarranty repairs took 6 weeks there are only 26.000 miles on this truck. obviously this is a defect in its design and application. | I was in a car accident. while driving, i don't know what happened but something caused my truck to roll over. earlier that day i remember that my parking brake would not work. i also had some trouble putting the gear into park. my airbags didn't deploy during this accident, and i was driving with cruise control on if that has any bearing on this. also, my front tires were always needing air. *tr | |||

| Driving on the freeway doing 50mph is a severe storm when the right rear tire suffered a belt separation causing spin and hitting backwards into a concrete center divide. the collision with the divide caused over $7500 worth of damage. it was reported to the manufacturer - this tire was a super swamper radial tsl 33x14.5 r16 with approximately 24k miles on them. *tr | |||
