 Tl- the contact owns a 2002 chevrolet silverado 1500. the contact stated when he engaged the accelerator pedal the vehicle lunged forward and the brakes failed to stop the vehicle. he was forced to shift gears in order to stop the vehicle. the vehicle was not taken to the dealer for diagnostic testing nor was the manufacturer notified of the failure. the failure and current mileage was 65,000. rvk

 Tl*the contact owns a 2002 chevrolet silverado 1500. while driving less than 10 mph on normal road conditions, the vehicle was slow to respond when the brake pedal was depressed. the contact experienced extreme difficulty coming to a complete stop. in addition, the stopping distance was increased. the vehicle was taken to an authorized dealer for inspection and they stated that the front wheel speed sensor cables had excessive rust. the vehicle was repaired. the failure mileage was 62,012 and current mileage was 62,200.

 I have had the same problem twice since i have owned this vehicle. i reported the first incident about 3 years ago. i never received a reply from you or gm. on april 30 08 i had the same problem again. i was about to pull into the carport and when i put my truck in drive it suddenly shot forward into a travel trailer and driving it into the wall. both the trailer and the carport were damaged there was no visible damage to the truck. *tr
