| 2004 chevy silverado pickup tailgate cable failure. -- i was injured today while loading my riding lawn mower onto the back of my pickup. the cables (which appear rusted within) snapped allowing the lawn mower and myself to fall off the back of the truck. i narrowly missed being seriously injured. shear luck allowed me to be thrown out of the way. *jb | |||
