My wife's 1999 chevrolet silverado 1500 extended cab pick-up truck was hit forcefully from behind, driving her vehicle into the vehicle in front of her. she had her seatbelt on, but she still struck the steering wheel with her face - causing a broken nose and severe bruising. it appears the seat frame bent enough to allow her move forward. the seat had to be replaced during the repair process. she is not a heavy person (5 ft 9 in tall and 125 lbs). i contend that having the seatbelt anchored to seat frame provides insufficient structural support. *tr
