| Tl*the contact owns a 2008 chevrolet silverado 1500. while driving approximately 35 mph and proceeding to turn, the steering wheel unexpectedly moved back and forth. the vehicle was pulled over to the side of the road and later resumed normal operation. the driver sustained a moderate wrist injury. the vehicle was taken to an authorized dealer and they replaced the power steering pump. one month prior to the steering pump repair, the steering gears were replaced. the vehicle was taken to an authorized dealer on five separate occasions for identical failures, but there were no resolutions. in addition, there was a defective propeller shaft assembly which has been replaced several times. the failure mileage was 18,600 and current mileage was 23,000. | |||
