| Tl-the contact owns a 2003 chevrolet silverado 1500 hd. the contact was driving approximately 25 mph, and the rear wheels turned in an awkward position causing a loss in steering. the vehicle would not steer in a straight direction. suddenly, the vehicle veered off the road and crashed into a utility pole. the contact stated the failure was related to the rear axle centering spring. the vehicle was completely destroyed and towed to the residence. a police report was not filed. the contact sustained injury to the neck. the failure mileage was approximately 140,000. the vin was unavailable. js | |||
