 Tl* the contact owns a 2012 chevrolet silverado 1500. the contact stated that while driving approximately 45 mph, the vehicle suddenly accelerated independently. the contact depressed the brake pedal but the vehicle would not respond. the vehicle was taken to the dealer for diagnostic testing three different times. the technicians were unable to diagnose the failure. the manufacturer was made aware of the failure and had an engineer further inspect the vehicle. the vehicle was not repaired. the vin was not available. the approximate failure mileage was 6,900. kmj
