 Michelin ltx m/s lt245/75r16 tires (2007 chevy 2500 hd since 11/06/2006) 07/15/2010: 79,144 miles. front driver side tire hi-speed blow-out (approx. 55 mph). damage to front & rear utility tool boxes; left rear mud flap & fuel filter assembly ripped away. 07/28/2010: 79,965 miles. replaced tire due to tread seperation 08/31/2010: michelin sent letter stating completion of 07/15/2010 claim finding no defect in design of tire or reason for incident; paid partial repair damages. 11/05/2010: replaced tire due to tread seperation. 02/01/2011: 90,101 miles. replaced tire due to tread seperation. 06/18/2012: 112,000 miles. noticed bubble (approx. 1 inch in size) on front passenger tire; parked vechicle in shade; approx. 1 1/2 hrs later removed bad tire; noticed bubble grew bigger in size (approx. 3 in.); leaned bad tire upright against vehicle; installed spare tire (approx. 15-20 min), turned to retrieve bad tire; tire exploded literally in face; no injury due to safety glasses. other person had just turned away at explosion with tire parts hit him in back; no injury.

 Tl*the contact owns a 2006 chevrolet silverado 2500. while driving approximately 65 mph, the front passenger side tire blew out. the contact was able to pull to the side of the road without a crash. he stated that he will contact the manufacturer. the contact still has the failed ameri-tech tire. the vin, engine size, number of cylinders, and dot number were unknown. the current and failure mileages were 30,000. returned usps, 2nd attempt made 08/06/07 attempt failed . *lj

 Tl* - the contact has a 2006 chevrolet silverado 2500 hd pickup with an odometer reading of 11500 miles. while driving kat 30 mph and faster if the vehicle came in contact with a rough or uneven patch of road the front end started to bounce up and down, and became hard to control. the contact took the vehicle to mayhew chevrolet, and they found that the truck had a tire tread deviation which was a possible reason for the failure.*ak the consumer stated the rear of the vehicle looses contact with the road. updated 01/29/07.*jb

 Tl*the contact owns a 2006 chevrolet silverado 2500. in march of 2007, the rear passenger side tire valve stem failed without warning. on march 28, 2009, both the front and rear driver's side valve stems failed like the one in 2007. the contact was informed by the tire company that the valve stems were cracking, but could not provide an explanation for the failures. the contact feels that the valve stems are faulty and defective and should be replaced by the manufacturer. the current and failure mileages were 8,500.
