When operating vehicle in driveway, brake pedal suddenly went to the floor. upon inspection it was found that a steel brake line toward the rear of vehicle had burst due to corrosion. in this case a complete loss of braking was noted resulting in a minor collision with a tree. no damage to the vehicle or driver. since this truck is only approx. 5-6 years of age, it seems as though this is quite an early failure. fortunately it failed in the driveway and not several minutes later when on the highway. *tr

Problems when i back up and forward, the brakes make noise i went to the dealer and they tell me, that is normal, but for a new vehicle it's not i don't like it they don't do anything, this bother me, plus this is the third time i took it in and i told them since the first time that it was vibrating, it seems that they are some transmission problems too. *tr

Tl*the contact owns a 2007 chevrolet silverado 2500. the contact purchased the vehicle with an integrated brake controller that is used for hauling a trailer with brakes. when he applies the brakes in his vehicle, the brakes on the trailer are supposed to illuminate simultaneously. however, this is not the case. while hauling a camper at 30 mph, each time the contact applied the brakes, the trailer would push the vehicle forward, nearly causing a rear end crash. the vehicle was taken to the dealer approximately 3 times. the first time, the dealer stated that they could not diagnose the failure because the system was brand new. the second time, the contact spoke with the service manager and was informed that they needed the proper tools to diagnose the failure. the third time, they inspected the vehicle and stated that the vehicle was supposed to have a 2.5 second delay from when he electronically applied the brakes in the vehicle to the time that it reached the trailer. the contact stated that it felt more like a 3.5 second delay. the failure mileage was between 500-1000 and the current mileage was 8,606.

My truck has 25,000 miles on it and the brake rotors on the front of the truck are warped the truck is just a year old, it seems to me that this is a little early for this to happen. *tr |
