| Tl*the contact owns a 2002 chevrolet silverado 2500 hd. while backing up the vehicle at 1 mph, the rearview mirror became unstable. the contact crashed into a telephone pole and the brake lights cracked. the vehicle was taken to a local dealer and they stated that gm was aware of the rearview mirror failure; however, there was no current remedy. the cost to repair the damages made to the vehicle would be $4,500. the vehicle has not been repaired. the manufacturer stated that someone would call the contact. the failure mileage was 14,593 and current mileage was 14,661. | |||
