 Tl- the contact owns a 2002 chevrolet silverado 2500 hd. while driving approximately 5 mph and depressing the brakes, the abs activated erroneously. the vehicle was taken to the dealer for diagnostics where the technician stated that the front driver side speed sensor was corroded and would have to be cleaned. the failure continued after the speed sensor was cleaned. the contact replaced the front passenger side wheel bearing, hub assembly and speed sensor independently yet the failure persisted. the vehicle was not repaired. the approximate failure mileage was 133,000. kmj

 Tl* the contact owns a 2002 chevrolet silverado 2500 hd. while driving the vehicle at a speed of 15 mph, the anti lock brakes engaged at a low speed. the contact had to constantly depress the brake petal until the brakes engaged. the contact confirmed the failure would occur when traveling at low speeds. the contact indicated the vehicle was experiencing the same failures as escribed in nhtsa campaign id number: 07v228000 (wheels). the dealer advised his vin was not included in the recall. the vehicle has not yet been repaired. the failure mileage was 32,000 and the current mileage was 35,000.
