 Tl-the contact owns a 2008 chevrolet silverado 3500 hd equipped with goodyear wrangler silent armor tires, size lt225/75/r17. the contact stated that the tread separated from the front passenger tire while driving 70 mph. the failure caused the bumper cap to be torn from the vehicle as the vehicle traveled erroneously across several lanes. in addition, the fender and passenger side door were also damaged. the contact was able to install the spare tire and the vehicle was taken to the dealer. the dealer advised that they were not familiar with the type of failure and offered no further assistance. the manufacturer was not notified. the tire failure mileage was 10,000. the vehicle failure mileage was 125,000. kmj

 Tl-the contact owns a 2008 chevrolet silverado 3500 hd. the contact stated the tire goodyear wrangler silent armor lt225/75/r17 had tread separation. the right front passenger tire tread separated from the tire, tore the bumper cap and bent the fender and door. the contact was driving 70 mph when the tires separated caused him to travel across lanes. the tire was changed on the side of the road and the vehicle was driven to the dealer. the dealer stated they never seen this failure and offered no assistance. the manufacturer was not notified. the failure mileage was 10,000 on the tire. the failure mileage on the vehicle was 125,000. mw
