Tl-the contact owns a 2011 chevrolet silverado 3500hd. the contact stated that the computer has programmed to limit the speed of the vehicle when the desiel exhaust fluid has gotten too low. he has noticed that when he fills the tank back up the computer doesn't recognize that the tank is full and the diesel warning light continues to illuminate on the instrumental panel. the vehicle has not been inspected by a dealer, but was contacted and they informed him that the only remedy as of now is for the vehicle to come in and for them to drop the diesel tank and empty the fluid for the computer to reprogram it self. also that it has to be performed by a certified dealer, due to it being diesel that was used in the vehicle. the vehicle has not been repaired. the failure mileage was approximately 6500. tb
