Dt*: the contact stated that the service light illuminated continuously. the vehicle was taken to the dealers who determined that the problem was the airbag module and replaced the module. the service light continued to illuminate. the dealers determined that the cause of the problem was related to a seatbelt defect and needed to be replaced but since they no longer carried the part; a sub contracting company may have the parts available for order. the dealer denied performing an inspection on the vehicle because the service light was illuminating. the manufacturer was notified and determined a letter of safety would be sent to authorize the contact to drive the vehicle. updated 8/7/2006 - *nm
