| Tl*the contact owns a 2000 chevrolet suburban 1500. while driving 30 mph, all of the instrument panel warning lights began to flash and the windshield wipers activated. the contact noticed white smoke coming from the tail pipe and the engine. he pulled off the road and called the fire department. smoke was also detected under the dashboard and wires began to burn. the fire department disconnected the battery to turn off all the electrical components so that the fire would not spread. the vehicle was towed to a chevrolet dealer and is currently being repaired. the insurance company and gm were also informed of the failures. the failure mileage was 142,000. | |||
