Thread separation on continental sport lt suv tire size p265/70r16. tires were purchased from walmart and 3 out of 4 have had thread separation. the first two, the seller replaced them with new one and since it happened in the city at low speed, no damage. third one was at interstate i4 at 70 mph. speed and suddenly the rear back tire make a banging noise hitting the fender and under the vehicle and following by heavy vibration and blow out. i was able to control the car and safely get to the break down lane. heavy damage to the left fender, running board and damage to brake line and the driver side of the vehicle from rubber hitting the car. my car is chevy suburban and tire has less than 10,000 miles on them. the tires are continental p265/70r16. as i went to walmart, they do not carry the continental tires any more. have not done any repair on the vehicle yet and have filed a complain with walmart only so far.
