| Tl-the contact owns a 2003 chevrolet suburban 1500. the contact stated that the rear lap belt failed. in addition, the second row center occupant seatbelt routing had become snug on the passenger's hips and allowed the lap belt to ride up on the passenger's abdomen instead of fitting low around the hip bone. the dealer was notified of the issue who stated that there was a recall for the failure under nhtsa campaign id number: 05v163000 (seat belts: rear) but the contact's vin was not included in the recall campaign. the manufacturer was notified who confirmed that the vin was not included in the recall. the vehicle was not prepared. they offered no other assistance. the failure mileage was 150,000. kmj | |||

| Tl* the contact owns a 2003 chevrolet suburban 1500. the contact was driving approximately 25 mph when the speedometer suddenly failed. in addition, the gear shifter indicator light would not illuminate and the rear center seat belt would not function. when the left turn signal was engaged, the hazard warning lights would illuminate sporadically. the vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic where the contact was awaiting a diagnosis of the failure. in addition, the contact stated that the fuel kit had to be replaced twice as well as a fuel injector cleaning. the failure mileage was approximately 100,000. | |||

| Tl-the contact owns a 2003 chevrolet suburban 1500. while driving approximately 25 mph, the speed odometer suddenly failed to operate. in addition, the gear shifter indicator light would not illuminate; and the rear center seat belt would not function. the contact stated when the left turn signal was engaged the hazard warning lights operated. the failure occurred sporadic.the vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic for diagnosis. the vehicle had not not been repaired for the malfunctions. also, the fuel kit was replaced on two different occasions with the cleaning of the fuel injectors. the failure mileage was approximately 100,000. js | |||

| 1.speedometer faied s daily. it will read 90 mph when i have just began accelerating. other times it will read 10 mph when i am driving with traffic on the freeway. problem has not been corrected, dealership advised it was not covered under a recall although they have received numerous complaints. 2. second row middle seat belt failed to retract. second middle seatbelt fastener got stuck and unable to unfasten seat belt without force. has not been corrected. 3. paint on radio controls & dashboard is peeling off - paint was originally grey and now some areas are black and other clear with the bright light shining through when the radio is in use. 4. brakes squeek excessively, replaced brakes & pads noise ceased for a month and then began again. 5. rear access door rattles constantly 6. rear access door plastic molding on inside of door cracked 7. front passenger seat belt plastic cover cracked and broke off 8. left rear passenger door light casing cracked and fell off 9. steering makes an abnormal noise when turning. *ak | |||
