| After 3 attempts to fix fix peeling chrome clad wheels the dealer cannot pinpoint the root cause. the dealer will not say either way as to weather or not there is a larger issue in which the integrity of the wheel is being compromised. i am concerned about this issue being more than just an appearance flaw . it seems as though the wheels its self may have stress cracks that cause this issue on the exterior of the wheels which is plastic and around the valve stem which is also plastic. gm insist that there is no larger issue but will not comment on what is causing this issue. i am still questioning the motive for choosing to use plastic and aluminum instead of solid metal considering the overall weight of the vehicle it does not seem to be safe or even close to being safe. | |||
