| The events leading up to the failure was normal vehicle operation for approximately one year. the failure to the vehicle was a vibration in the steering shaft. consequences could have resulted in a loss of steering. chevrolet service lubed the steering shaft per a gm service bulletin. this repair was covered under warranty. approximately one year later, the same failure occurred. chevrolet service stated that gm has developed a new steering shaft to eliminate this problem. i will be taking my vehicle in for repair 3 days from this writing. chevrolet suggested this complaint as a method of obtaining a recall and subsequently a reimbursement for the repair. *tr | |||

| Steering wheel. when i start my van it wants to keep turning over. and when it finally starts, the steering wheel locks up. the car lot that i bought it from says there's nothing that they can find that would cause this problem. but it keeps accruing. this has nothing to do with the dealer. they didn't make my van, gm motors did. i want to make it clear that the dealers service department was great.*jb | |||
