 Cracks on dashboard next to passenger airbag and above the instrument panel on the left side running across the hump. always kept in covered garage and maintained as per manufacturer suggested cleaning procedures. crack on passenger side has widened to the point where the air bag cover makes a rattling noise, apparently due to vibration of the whole part. *tr

 Tl-the contact owns a 2008 chevrolet suburban. the contact stated that the rear hatch lock was not operable and the vehicle was not equipped with a manual release button. the contact was concerned that it would be difficult to exit the vehicle in the event of an emergency or fire. the dealer was notified of the failure and offered no assistance. the manufacturer was not notified of the failure. the failure mileage was 73,000 and the current mileage was 75,000. sm.
