| I have a 2007 chevy tahoe and recently went to get out of the passenger side and sliced my finger open on the door handle. i examined the handle to find that the chrome coating is peeling, and is extremly sharp! definatly will need to be fixed to prevent further injurys! i hope chevrolet addresses this issue immediatly, i was cut pretty bad, but would hate to have someone especially a child be hurt worse! | |||

| I received about a 1 inch cut/gash on the palm of my hand due to peeling 'chrome' on the interior drivers door handle of a 2007 chevy tahoe that i purchased less than a month ago. the 'chrome' is peeling on at least two of the 4 interior door handles. i have searched numerous sites, and noticed multiple complaints, but there has been no recall issued. | |||

| I owe a 2007 chevrolet tahoe. i noticed in july of this year that there is a 2-3 inch crack on the top left corner of the das on the passenger's side--right on top of where the air bag is! i took the vehicle to the dealer and they said since it's not a safety issue general motors said they will not replace the dash! how do they freaking know it's not a safety issue when it's on top of the air bag??? and now there's another crack! this one is just to the left of the driver's side instrument panel on top of the dash! this crack is 6-7 inches long. i take super good care of my vehicles, sun shades, regular conditionings, etc. and since the vehicle is 4 years old, there is no reason (other than crappy workmanship and crappy materials and crappy engineering) to have not one but two cracks on a $50,000 vehicle! so i'm guessing when my air bag fails on my passenger side and when my daughter gets hurt in a wreck because the airbag doesn't properly deploy, then it will be a safety issue because i will be all over general motors. this is not an isolated incident. check the internet. hundreds of complaints of the same cracks happening. gm is aware of the problem and is choosing to do nothing about it. please look into this issue and help us get this problem resolved. | |||

| Tl*the contact owns a 2007 chevrolet tahoe. the air bag indicator continuously remains illuminated in the vehicle. the contact took the vehicle to the dealer and they stated that the air bags were not inflating properly. the retainer clip was replaced and the indicator was repaired. the indicator is currently illuminated again. the failure mileage was 34,665. updated 03/09/09. *lj the air condition blew otu hot air, the dvd and onstar stopped working as well as the seats and windows no longer operate. updated 03/12/09. *jb | |||

| Battery began to go dead. i would call road service to get it restarted. this has happened several times and *onstar was notified on most occasions of this happening.*onstar was notified due to the contract i have with them for roadside help. this has happened atleast seven times.(using *onstar for assistance on atleast three of these seven times) i have taken it back to the dealership for help with the problem. they replaced the battery. but the real problem is the car just up and shuts down while driving. this has happened twice(i told the dealer about it)and the thing ,other than the safety factor, i'm afraid to drive the car. i travel and i really need a car. i can't afford a secondary vehicle. my family stated nor can you afford to die either!the chance of taken the life of another person,to me,far exceeds the fear i have of loosing my on life. *tr | |||

| 2007 chevrolet tahoe. consumer states several issues with vehicle and request information on recalls, service bulletins, warranties or lemon law *tgw the consumer stated the cruise control down shifted to 2nd while driving at highway speeds and on hills, the starter would hang, there was a noise coming from the ac compressor. the transmission was replaced. however, it continued to hesitate after the vehicle was started, as well as a vibration. there was a clicking noise coming from the differential, the idle needle would rise, while at a stop, the battery drained, the engine stalled, the dash was cracked, there was a problem with the suspension, the tire pressure monitoring system was repaired three times, the passenger side mirror was inoperable, the weather strip had come off the vehicle and there was a clicking noise coming from the u-joint. *jb | |||
