 While driving within the city in winter, the windshield suddenly became fogged over and the smell of coolant was noticed inside the vehicle. i was unable to see out the windshield and had to pull over. after parking i noticed a small drip of coolant under the center console. a local independent garage found the heater core to be ruptured. the heater core was replaced. *tr

 The defroster failed when needed. this condition resulted in a completely obstructed windshield with reduced visibility while driving. the lost visibility could have resulted in an accident, injury or death. the a/c electrical circuits were found to have a blown fuse. a tsb was found by the dealer, and this is a known defect by gm. the fuse was replaced. *tr

 The blower was not adequate to fully defrost the windshield. the defroster vents were at an angle and the consumer felt that they vents were poorly positioned. *ph *nlm

 Defroster became inoperable during cold weather. this condition resulted in water condensate forming on the inner windshield, side windows and back window and caused poor visibility. poor visibility could have resulted in a possible accident, injury or death. the dealership found the a/c electrical circuits to be defective and a fuse blown. this is know condition for this vehicle, and a tsb was found on this problem. the vehicle was repaired by the dealership, however the repair was refused to be covered under warranty. *tr
