Our chevy tracker was purchased new in oct 02. the first time the oil was changed the vehicle would not start back up imediatly. after spinning the motor over for several minutes it did start but smoked severley. this problem has persisted since that date. the repair tech. at chevrolet agrees that the valves in the cylinder head are sticking open causing the vehicle to not have the compression to start. but after three attempts to repair they have failed and cannot find the problem what do i do?????????????

Tl-the contact owns a 2002 chevrolet tracker. the contact stated that there were no screens covering the air conditioning vents. as a result, a mouse entered the vents, contaminated the area and caused the blower motor to blow out. the air conditioner stopped functioning in response to the blow out. the vehicle was taken to an authorized dealer, who ran a diagnostic test and stated that the blower motor and assembly needed to be replaced. the manufacturer was made aware of the failure, but offered no assistance. the failure mileage was 64,000. sm.

Tl-the contact owns a 2002 chevrolet tracker. the contact stated there was no shield screen over the panel where the air condition and heat blower comes through. a mouse got in the vent and contaminated the area and blew out the blower motor causing the air conditioner to not work. the vehicle was taken to the dealer who ran a diagnostic test and stated they needed to replace the blower motor and the entire assembly. the repair would cost a $1000 and the contact has to pay for the repairs. the manufacturer was contacted and offered no assistance. the failure mileage was 64,000. mw

The engine of my 2002 chevy tracker would make clicking noises. i first brough in my vehicle for service approx. 2 months ago. then a week or so after i got my vehicle back, the clicking noise from the engine is back. i then brough teh vehicle back to my gm dealership and they said it was fine, but i don't accept their answer. eventhough there's no injuries leading from this incident, but i'm afraid it would cause greater harm in the future.
