| Tl-the contact owns a 2002 chevrolet trailblazer. the contact stated that while parked, there was a strong odor of gasoline fuel outside of the vehicle. the contact did not detect a fuel leak. the vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic where a fuel leak was detected after the fuel tank was removed. the technician stated that the fuel tank module would need to be replaced. the vehicle was repaired. the manufacturer was notified of the problem. the approximate failure mileage was 30,000. kmj | |||
