Rear seat bottom, which folds up to lower seat back, is not fully secured to vehicle. there is only one latch, with obvious location for a second one, which was not installed. this makes left rear seat, not properly secured and could break loose in collision.

I an complaining about the 2002 chevy trailblazer seat which has snaped a bracket which supports the seat on the left front side! this bracket broke while i was operating my vehicle and caused me to be jogged to the side when the seat dropped! i was not hurt but the sudden jolt caused me to swerve to one side before i recovered! as it was there was no one on my left when it happened! i called chevrolet and did not get any satisfaction!

When teh rear seat are folded down there is not enought room for the driver seat when it is in easy out mode. i folded the rear seats down, and when i got out of the vehicle the front seat moved back as normal and hit the rear seat. this caused the motor or gear to break or jam, causing the power seat to not work. no repairs have been made as of yet.*ak

Loose driver's seat back. driver's seat back has over 2 inches of back and forth movement and makes a clunking noise upon acceleration / deceleration. when decelerating, the seat back moves forward causing the driver's torso to also move forward. this causes the driver to put excessive pressure on the brake pedal which causes exceptionally hard, fast, and uncontrolled stops. since the seat belt retractor is part of the seat back, this may also cause the driver not to be properly retained to the seat in the event of a collision. dealer was notified on 12/7/02. ts

Upon a cross country drive with my 2002 chevrolet trailblazer - the seat warmer kept turning itself on. i was unable to turn it off. kept trying. given that it was a sunday and we were driving from arizona to wisconsin for the holidays, we needed to keep moving. the seat got so hot i needed to put a folded blanket down to be abe to sit on it. eventually - it failed. it got so hot it burned a brown spot into the leather seat and completely burned a hole through the interior seat material. this should be investigated as a fuse or something else should have failed before it got that hot. *nm

Purchased feb 1, 2002. since then have had nothing but problems. had into 4 different dearlerships fixing many problems but after each visit another problem occurs. from tail lights burning out, windhshield wiper motor failures, instrument cluster replaced, heater control panel replaced once, memory mirror modules replaced 2 times, heated seat switches replaced 2 times, rear window defogger/replaced entire rear window 1 time, battery replaced 1 time ( said battery was at fault for current problems) battery was fine and charged me $ 150 for new battery that was not the correct battery replacement, exhaust gasket became loose/loud and had to be replaced, the fuel pump replaced because it just cut off as i was on the expressway going approx 65 miles an hour, i had to get to the side of the road quickly- had to be towed to dealership. problem fixed, however after i picked it up then the current problem began. i could go on and on with the problems that i have had. present problem is that whenever i turn on the heat it dies out with no warning---just stops and stalls. dealership says they fixd it but upon pick up the problem still exists. gone to pick it up 2 times, but when i start it and put on heat, it dies all over again even after dealership claims they fixed it. i live in chicago and it has been a cold winter. almost caused a crash on another expressway on way home from having the airbag sensor and a complete brake job done and all fluids changed. this vehicle is not worth $ 37,000 and i feel it is time that gm accept some responsibility for this lemon of a vehicle. it is my only vehicle and i am still paying dearly for it but lately cannot even use it as it remains in one dealership after another at my expense. i will not purchase another vehicle from gm. i need help and answers as i am not getting anywhere even with this vehicle still under warranty.*ak
