| Car has a delay in starting. starts to turn over, but sounds like its trying too hard. once started the clock resets to 1200 and the check engine light was on. when the delership checked for a code the only thing that came up had to do with the gas cap not being on tight. it has been happening with more frequencey regaurdless of how tight the gas cap is. check engine light is no longer coming on. battery gauge is where it should be once it starts and does not drain. wondering if it could possible be a faulty ignition switch, but the dealership won't attempt a fix as they cannot get the problem to duplicate. | |||

| I was going into the drive thru bank window and when i went to open my window it would not go down. the other windows worked but not from the main switch. i called the dealer and they said i need a new module which is going to cost me $300 to replace which i do not have . after doing some research this seems to be a problem with this model. | |||

| I will soon be replacing my 3rd fuel pump. you can not purchase a sending unit separately and you can not replace a fuel filter for maintenance. also the master window switch stopped operating yesterday after a burning smell filled the truck. the master window switch is melted. had issues with i first bought the truck with it shutting down on the highway, no gas, no power steering, no control. received a year of free oil changes from chevy after a complaint was filed, they still to this day can not tell my why my truck would randomly shut down. | |||

| First occurrence i smelt burning plastic and saw some smoke coming from the master window switches on the drivers door. the switches failed, windows stopped working and when getting them replaced the inside sound proofing was black and burnt. the second time i didn't smell smoke but the windows stopped working and the inside of the door is burnt. the switches failed and the drivers door window stopped going down. the switch needs to be replaced. | |||

| Gas gauge does not work. reads empty even after vehicle is filled with fuel. check engine is always on because of gauge problem. | |||

| With a full tank of gas the fuel gauge stoped working and now reads empty all the time. the check engine light comes on and off depending on how much fuel is in the tank.this trailblazer had only 36,500 miles on it when this started. i beleave the dealer should pay for all the repairs as this is a safety hazard. | |||

| Driving 40 mph in city traffic, approaching stopped traffic. brakes start to lock up. while completely stopped the brakes are locked, the pedal will not compress. when apply gas, the car does not go forward. i had to put the car in park, turn off the car, and then start it and put back into drive for it to work. | |||

| I read about: gm recalling 1.4 million vehicles for fire hazard by peter valdes-dapena, senior writerjune 9, 2010: 10:03 am et. while driving to work on on may 17, 2010, i heard a loud pop and i immediately pulled over and called aaa. approximately 10 minutes later, my 3 year old chevy trailblazer had flames start shooting out of the hood. it was engulfed in flames soon thereafter. i thought it was steam, so if a nj firefighter had not grabbed me out of the vehicle, i am not quite sure how this story would have ended... | |||
