| 2005 trailblazer fuel sensor unit faulty. fuel gauge does not correctly show the correct amount of fuel. it shows empty although the fuel has been filled. on at least one occasion my spouse was left stranded due to this failure. | |||

| I own a 2005 chevy trailblazer in dec. 2009 i filled the car with gas and the fuel gauge immediately registered empty the fuel sensor has failed it will cost $558.00 to repair. in february the speedometer registered 120 mph while sitting still for a stop sign now the speedometer does not work. i contacted gen motors in detroit, michigan and was asked to have diagnostic done at ed bozart chevorlet. by a representative in consumer complaints they contacted district representative for chevy and they both said that there is nothing they can do to help us. the total cost to fix our car is $1,258.00. we were told to fix the car for safety reasons and if they decided to recall the trailblazer we might be reimbursed. there are several complaints in the computer concerning the same problems with this car. *tr | |||
