| The 2005 chevrolet uplander van i purchased makes a bad growling/friction noise origiinating from the rear drivetrain/wheel area when making left turns. there is approx. 22,000 miles on the van and still is under warranty. i will be taking it to a cherolet dealer to have inspection/repairs made. | |||

| 2006 chevy uplander. transmission slipping in low gear. must noticable when coming to a stop and starting again. not recommended to pull out into traffic because you dont know if you are going to move or not. also noticable when going from reverse to drive. happens atleast once or twice a day for the last week now. dumped some lucas transmission treatment into it the other day, seems to be better for the time being. also drivers rear slidding door is wacked. just gave up on it. | |||

| Tl*the contact owns a 2006 chevrolet uplander. the vehicle did not always start on the first or second attempt and the transmission slipped and jerked while the contact was driving. the vehicle was taken to an authorized dealership where the transmission was flushed and the fuel pump was changed; however, the problem continued. the dealer could not explain the cause of the failure. the vin was unavailable at the time of the complaint. the failure mileage was approximately 40,000. the current mileage was approximately 64,000. | |||

| Tl*the contact owns a 2006 chevrolet uplander. while driving at any speed or in reverse, the steering feels as if it has lost power. while driving 5 mph, the contact heard a banging sound in the transmission, and the vehicle accelerated when the brake pedal was released. the dealer stated that the front passenger and driver side stabilizer shaft links were prematurely worn. the current mileage was 23,116 and failure mileage was 23,080. | |||

| Tl* - the contact owns a 2006 chevrolet uplander with a current and failure mileage of 34,000. the contact stated that sometimes when the vehicle was parked or when driving she would feel the vehicle vibrating. the vibrations were more pronounced on the driver's side. every time the vehicle went over a bump she heard a rattling noise from under the front of the vehicle, and it sounded like something was loose. the contact had the dealer look at the vehicle , and was told that the wheel bearing needed to be replaced. the contact had the wheel bearing replaced , but the problem recurred. *ak the dealer reprogrammed the power train control module, and replaced power steering. the lights would become dim at times. the dealer replaced the generator voltage regulator. update 05/22/07*tr | |||
