| The drivers side seat belt started going slack about a year ago but i could take up the tension by hand after i buckled the belt. this was just an annoyance until a month ago when the srs light appeared on the dash. the mil was intermittent at first , leading me to believe that the malfunction was likely to resolve itself. unfortunately the mil is now always on. i took the vehicle to a qualified technician whom i trust and he put the vehicle on the scanner. he informed me that i did indeed have a hard code. his computer tells me that my left front pretensioner deployment loop is open. (code # dtc b 0065). i haven't yet taken the vehicle to the dealer to see how this resolves. | |||
