 Between multipoint vehicle inspections performed in 12/2008 and 11/2009), my vehicle developed a rear axle differential seal leak. with less than 59000 miles normal vehicle operation and less than three years of ownership, i am confronted with a defective rear axle differential seal. without replacement of this expensive factory defect, there is a possibility for the rear axle to over heat and possibly ignite the vehicle afire. *tr

 Dt*: the contact stated there was a strange smell in the vehicle which came through the air conditioning vents. the vehicle was taken to the service dealer, where a bacterial growth was found on the evaporator coil. the dealer treated the growth, but the strange smell and vapor from the air conditioning vent was still present which caused runny noses, coughing and sore throats. the service dealer notified the manufacturer.*ak
