	Tl-the contact owns a 2012 chrysler 300. while driving approximately 3 mph, the accelerator pedal was depressed and there was an eight second delayed response. the failure recurred ten times while driving at low speeds. the vehicle was taken to an authorized dealer twice and the brake pedal sensor was replaced. the dealer also inspected the brake pedal wiring in which there was no defect. the failure recurred after the repair. the manufacturer was not notified of the problem. the approximate failure mileage was 10. kmj

	When switching from the accelerator pedal to the brake pedal my foot hits the plastic surface on the upper part of the foot well. this can delay the time it takes to hit the brakes. i removed the chrysler issue floor mat to resolve the problem. this would be a safety issue with people with shoe size over 11. *tr
