Defect Summary | Sabersport is recalling 16,270 combination corner and bumper lamp assemblies of various part numbers sold for use as aftermarket equipment for various passenger vehicles. these headlamps fail to conform to the requirements of federal motor vehicle safety standard no. 108, lamps, reflective devices, and associated equipment. these lamps do not contain the required amber side reflectors. | |||||||||||||||

I have a 2000 chrysler 300m and when the headlights are on they will go off and on , on there own while driving also the dash panel will go completely out and back on i feel that this is a life and death situation with my vehicle i was wondering if you have other complaints on file as my dealer says there is nothing they can do for me. *tr | |||

Tl*the contact owns a 2000 chrysler 300m. while the engine was running, the headlights and instrument panel would flicker intermittently. on one occasion, the engine was turned off and the headlights were still flickering. the vehicle was taken to the dealer and repaired. the contact was unsure of what repairs were made; however, the failure still persists. the failure mileage was 12,000 and current mileage was 61,120. | |||

When driving at night dashboard lights continuously flickered. when the lights flickered they fully illuminated. this caused a distraction to the driver. dealership has replaced the headlamp switch, but the problem recurred. *ak | |||
