Tl*the contact owns a 2000 chrysler 300m. while driving 65 mph, the vehicle stopped in the middle of the freeway. it was determined that the fuel filter was the cause of the failure. once the fuel filter becomes clogged, it stops the water pump from working and the vehicle will shut off when it reaches 100,000 miles and over. the fuel filter is located in the gas tank. the owner's manual does not mention how to change the fuel filter. the contact spoke with the dealer and they stated that attempting to change the filter would be risky. the failure mileage was 106,000.
