Tl*- the contact owns a 2000 chrysler lhs with an odometer reading of 76000 miles. the contact stated that the chrome factory wheels were peeling on the inside which caused the tires to become flat. the contact took the vehicle to a tire shop, and they found that the chrome on the inside of the tire was peeling and causing the tire beads to separate from the rim and tire pitting. *ak updated 03/19/07. *jb

All 4 tires have been loosing air for about 2 months, i figured i needed new tires so i took the car to a mechanic and i was told they could not replace the tires because all 4 wheels have corrosion around the valve stems, and this would just continue to happen with new tires, my 2 rear tires do not need to be replace it is the corrosion which is causing them to loose air. i was told they have been hearing and seeing a lot of these problems with the 2000 chrysller lhs wheels. *nm

Air was seeping out of the four tires. the tires needed to be refilled with air every 3 days. the tire repair shop indicated that corrosion on the inside of rims was causing this to occur. *ak
