2001 chrysler lhs. the vehicle has about 100,000 miles on the odometer. issue #1 the vehicle dies suddenly while driving. this is a random occurrence, but very unsafe. i intend to contact chrysler about this issue, but no safety recalls have been made for this vehicle. issue #2 vehicle engine surges suddenly when stopped while the driver has their foot on the brake and not touching the accelerator at all. the idle jumps around anywhere from 1,000 - 2000 rpm and then settles back down to normal idle on it's own after a few seconds. this is a random occurrence, but could be a safety issue if the brakes do not hold. *tr |
