Defect SummaryVehicle description: passenger vehicles. the lower control arm attaching brackets can crack due to fatigue and separate from the engine cradle.
Consequence SummaryIf this occurs, the transmission half-shaft could pull out of the transaxle and result in loss of power.
Corrective SummaryDealers will reinforce the engine cradle at the point where the lower control arm attaches to it.

 While driving car , sometimes it does not pick up speed properly. also when pressing the brake pedal it shakes the entire steering wheel & the car feels like the front end will fall apart. *ak

 When pulling off and coming to a stop there is some noise coming from the front of vehicle. when consumer is at a stop the fan gets very loud. also, consumer noticed when parking and turning the wheel, there is a popping sound coming from under the vehicle which might be the axle under the vehicle, keyless remote control doesn't work either. *ak

 Consumer heard rattling in the rear end. as he drove more and more, and went under vehicle where bolt connects to the pivot point for the trailing arm, he discovered bolt was sticking out about 2inches, and that was causing the noise. *ak
