I purchased this vehicle used with very low mileage. it is in great condition until i started hearing a noise in the front end. i took into the garage to have new tires and brakes put on it. when the mechanic put it on the rack, he said that the frame was rusted through. so, instead of new tires and brakes i now need a new frame. i am just thankful that i was not driving while this happen. i was wondering if this problem as affected other owners also. *tr

I own a chrysler pacifica 2004 awd. the vehicle has had numerous suspension problems, such as a clicking sound and an unstable vehicle. i believe it might be the front cradle of the vehicle but am not sure if this is the exact cause. also, when i brake, the car makes a huge thud sound. i replaced the brakes and rotors as the dealer has done but the noise is still there. please investigate this matter as many other pacifica owners have encountered this. thank you so much.

I had a bad vibration in the front . so i took it to the dealer since i had a factory extended warranty bumper to bumper., they said the car needed tires. so i changed the tire it still vibrated. go back now it is the rack & pinion bushings are bad . but i need to replace the k frame because a weld is broken. they say i broke it cause there are scratches on it. {not that vibration did it} so i paid to have a new one put in . 8 months later the motor mounts break and the engine drops 2 from the ground . thank god my family was not driving down a highway. so i take it back and they say because there is scratches on it again that broke the bushings .once again i ended up paying to have it fixed. *tr

Purchased chrysler pacifica 2004 6-4-04. immediately after purchase began to make a loud chirping/squeaking noise. bought in for repair 6-10 (144 miles). service advised defect had been repaired ( new belt ). picked up car on 6-14-04 noise was still very evident/not fixed. on 6-15 reported defect was still not fixed. 6-16-04 dropped off car for same defect (268 miles). 6-19 advised they had corrected defect( replaced belt and shimmied power steering pump). picked up 6-19 not fixed. dropped off third time on 6-22 (367 miles). 6-24 service department advised fixed car(filed rep advised shim power steering pump/ pulley). removed engine mount and power steering pump. picked up car 6-26 still making loud chirping noise. noise was constant. brought in my car for 4th time for same defect. dropped off car 6-30. as of today, dealer is claiming they are still working on car and cannot fix defect. they need more time. i am extremely concerned about this defect and understand there was a bulletin released (10005991) on feb. 17, 2004 that sounds very much like the defect i am reporting to dealer/service department. i fear driving the car as i don't know what the issue is and cannot understand why the dealer/service department cannot fix this defect. service manager (pete martino) fails to return my calls and i am being completely ignored (because i am a woman). i asked to personally speak to this field rep (jim berry) yesterday as i wanted to understand the defect. pete martino refused for me to speak or see the field rep. at this point i feel like i am trapped with a car that obviously has a defect and fear for my safety in driving this vehicle. basically the attitude at this dealer is to give me the run around. they are just waiting for me to get a lawyer involved prior to having to do anything to remedy the situation. in the meantime i fear for my safety in driving a car with a defect and the dealer/service department are unable to fix. *jb
