| The glass of the rear window of my chrysler pacifica shattered and exploded out. i had parked the car at my school and locked it. when i came out after class i noticed the window had two holes in it. i originally thought someone had hit my car, but when i got closer i saw glass on the ground outside my car. a person walking by saw the whole thing and left note. he wrote that he heard and saw my window break. he said there was nobody near the car at the time. i believe the glass in the pacifica is defective. the temperature was around 35 degrees. there was no glass in my vehicle. it was as if the window just shattered and exploded out. my fear is that the rest of my windows will also be defective and will shatter and explode when the car is occupied and hurt someone. if this passerby had not witnessed the sua sponte shattering i would have thought that someone just hit my car. i wonder how many other people have had this happen to them without witnesses and just thought they had been a victim of vandalism. *nm | |||

| Tl*the contact owns a 2005 chrysler pacifica. while driving approximately 40 mph in wet conditions, the rear passenger side window failed. the window dropped down into the door and the contact was unable to raise the window. the contact took the vehicle to a repair shop and they repaired the window. the manufacturer stated that they could not be of any assistance. the current and failure mileages were 38,300. | |||

| Really was happy with my pacifica but now i am afraid to drive it! managed to get through the whole left turn and the car stalls. but now driving down a straight road the whole passenger side window collapsed into the door for not apparent reason. it was on the side my daughter was buckled into her car seat and needless to say scared her to death as rain was soaking her! *jb | |||

| Tl*the contact owns a 2005 chrysler pacifica. while driving 45 mph, the contact's vehicle was passed by an 18-wheeler tractor trailer and her sun roof suddenly exploded with a loud bang. she was able to maintain control of the vehicle. the dealer and the manufacturer stated that they could not assist with the repair costs. the contact had to wait until june 16, 2008 for the parts to arrive for the repair, and the dealer replaced the sun roof at the cost of $343.74. the failure mileage was 30,607 and current mileage was 30,652. updated 07/15/08. *lj updated 007/15/08 | |||

| Traveling at highway speeds the sunroof glass was partially separated from the mounting frame. the glass was vertical in the air stream until the car was moved to the side of the road. the glass was fully removed and taken to a glass repair shop to reattach to the mounting frame. *tr | |||

| While driving in clear but cloudy conditions all windows closed, the moon roof was closed with its shade in the open position. for no identifiable reason the moon roof exploded with a loud bang and shattered, glass fell onto us, and in the back unocuppied seat. no warning at all. dealer replace moon roof under warranty. | |||
