| My 2006 pacifica will go from a half a tank of fuel to no fuel in a matter of minutes. this has left us stranded on the side of the road a number of times, sometimes in very dangerous places with my two children in the car. the saddle tank is a very bad design, with the transfer pump. when we are stranded on the road side, if you crawl under the car one side of the tank is hollow empty and the other side is completely full, yet we are waiting on someone to bring us gas. when you try to refuel the car it will only take 3 or 4 gallons before the pump shuts off. to finish you have to almost trickly the gas in the very top of the filler tube. i have contacted chrysler about this problem and they told me that mine was the first complaint they had heard about this, i can't believe that, after reading all the online complaints about the 06 pacificas. my dealership can tell me anything that will for sure fix all the problems. i dont want to pay for all the guessing work, when so many other pacifica owner are having the same problems. | |||
