Dt*: the contact stated two days after purchasing the vehicle a percussion noise was noticed coming from the rear windows. the rear windows were down at the time of the noise. the vehicle was taken to the service dealer who suggested one of the front windows be placed in an open position along with rear to reduce noise. the noise is present at all times, but is more severe at speeds above 30 mph. contact claimed it was a design defect. updated 06/01/2006. *ak *ts | |||

My 2006 chrysler pacifica has severe case of wind buffering noise. any time you roll a rear window down while driving at any speed it sounds as if there is a helicopter landing on the back seat. i notified my dealer several times and they say there isn't much they can do. it is a huge safety hazard driving down the road if you accidentally roll the window down. there is 3200 miles on the car and the dealer pretty much said oh well! *nm |
