The car is draining anti-freeze from the freeze plugs, which have rusted >from the inside out. if they go completely, all of the antifreeze blows out >and the engine burns up. it's not a warranty or a normal wear and tear >problem. it's a manufacturing problem dating back to how chrysler made the >car. >> chrysler made sebrings for a while down in mexico and has been forced >to recall the freeze plugs on many of the identical sebrings as this one. >same year, same plant down in mexico, same make, same model. for some >reason, this car's vin number wasn't included in the recall and it should >have been. it's having the same problem for the same reason as the other >recalls chrysler was forced to make because of safety issues. according to the service manager, the car is unsafe to drive and is a $3500 repair job. *jb
